Just armor for now and tossed in some black/red cup holder fillers. Get my windows tinted soon etc etc. So pretty much just body protection so I can go play after I break it in. Just hit 600 miles today. Lol

Best bet is to get a list of all your dealership that you’re will to travel to. Look at inventory online. Then get the best price over the phone. Now I think is the best time to buy if you’re picky. Or wait for the 2020’s to drop if you’re willing to grab a leftover at a fantastic price. Just my $0.02

The guy that posted on here that beat my TRD Pro deal by $1800 bucks....... I’d go to whatever dealer he bought from if travel cost didn’t out weigh the cash saved.

I didnt get the best deal in the world, but glad to be back into a taco after a 3 year hiatus
    I traded in a '17 explorer sport.
My MSRP was 47,300 on a TRD Pro. I got something like 2500 off for the deal they had running, then I negotiated in a clear bra and a better trade in.
I wrote a check for around 16k OTD.

For any of you folks in Texas, what’s the ballpark price OTD on SR Access Cab 4X4 4 cylinders? I see that with the remaining 2019s, trucks with an MSRP of around $28,500 are being discounted to around $26,000. Has anyone gotten more off than that?

I know used Taco's aren't everyone's jam, but I like motorcycles too. Hope this helps for the used market people.

    San Diego, CA
    2017 White DBCB SR5 4x2 31K miles
Advertised at $28.9k, negations and removing LoJack got it to $25.5K + TTL (want to say this was $3,500). Already has OEM tonneau cover and got two tanks of gas.

Went to my dealer in Vancouver this PM.

All Canadian dollars so for USD multiply by 0.76.

    2019 DCLB - Sport
    msrp - 42,470
    freight and delivery 1815
    ac and tire charges 125
    total 44,410
dealer will give me 4,000 in equity if I don't buy out my lease
and take 2,000 off the truck price

so basically 38,410 before taxes etc. (that's about $29K in USD).

I only owe $24K (approx $18K USD) so even after I pay the stupid $$ to transfer the title and taxes I'm still at $28K (US$ 21K)

I do need new tires soon so I'm in for a grand soon. But, still - I think I'm going to just buy my 2016 with 42K miles out.

OK, last night after hours of dealing on a 2020 over phone/email. I was mudguards away from a Voodoo blue at $40,100 (multicam, moonroof, leather, etc) + tax (Colorado). THEN, an epiphany....I decided I did not care about the cameras that much, never cared about the power seat, LED headlights (rarely even drive at night)... SO.

Got a 19 today - OR, DC, 4x4, TRD Premium Pkg (leather, moonroof, etc). Paid $35,350 + tax.

Now I can put the $5K into a lift, tires and a softtopper instead. First Taco. Wooohoo!

I believe the MSRP was $42- something. The dealer cost/invoice was $39-something. $1,500 Toy rebate, blah blah, etc... I think if I pushed harder I could have gotten another $200 off. But, I felt good about not paying another $5k for pretty much the same car and stuff I did not want. Also, I did want the Voodoo.... but... it is pretty bright. So, I was not 100% sold on it.

Because I'm on S.S. disability and a 4X2 is all I need to make the 1 mile drive to Walmart and the laundry mat. (Could not afford an extra $100+ on my payment.)
And I have never felt the need to own a 4X4.
