It runs and drives. Its not that bad. I think it needs new valve steam seals and it can be a fine daily. I just havnet bothered moving it to my shop to work on it

You'd spend more in time and parts (even parts as cheap as valve stem seals) repairing it than it's worth. Doing stem seals without pulling the head sucks.

Yeah, its the Japanese equivalent of an Oldsmobile Alero, the best you can hope to do is pass it along for $500

Wow, it's crazy how similar both places we went to look despite being so far apart haha. Looks like a great trip!

Yeah, I was being kinda unfair to the Alero, it was much more popular than the Diamante ever was. Alero is the kinda junk that'll perpetually get passed around for $1000. Haven't seen them in a minute though, when I was growing up they were everywhere. But WA moves on fast, the vast majority don't buy American here and the ones that do are more likely to stay current.

3 hours is not bad at all, the area we went to was a solid 5 hour drive from home which is almost too far for just a weekend. We have a lot of good spots within a few hours or less, but nothing quite as good as what you find at the the higher (10k ft) elevation environments

I've had good experience with federal, my buddies running coopers are having various cupping and balance related issues, plus in my opinion they're pretty overpriced for how much they're undersized.

They're a big brand, see them sponsoring in lots of motorsports. Decent prices/value on most of their lineup. Running a set of their super street tires on my Z and my mother is running some of their eco tires on her CR-V. Been good on both accounts and super affordable. I can't find a single tire in their lineup that has bad reviews as a whole.

The price is pretty killer for 35" mt. Sounds like a win to me.
