More of a 4t to 2t decision tbh. Love my 450 in blue, i just want e-start and something more woods friendly. Mx is fun but i think i can go without, im not that good anyways

I am the same way, no more MX for me, back injuries mean I gotta stick to the slow stuff. I replaced it earlier this year by getting into stunting and low speed dirtbike trials type stuff (which sucks with a 450 but you gotta work with what you got lol).

Woods is very fun, since i have an FZ-07 stuntbike now I am returning the WR450F into a woods bike. Previous owner had some nerd 15 front sprocket and 43 rear sprocket. Thing was geared for my grandma or top speed championship or something, I weigh 230 and I seriously couldn't clutch it up in 2nd or 3rd thats how weak that gearing was. Had to completely bounce it in first and then the bike wants to run away and not idle. Returned it to 14/50, we'll see how that works this weekend.

Wtf kind of gearing is that, lol. Even standard gearing that bike should handle highway. Thats the only thing i can think you would gear it like that for.

One of the guys ive ridden with a few times has a wr450f, he makes it look easy on that thing. Definitely a lot easier looking than my yz. I was glad not to be the hold up on the last trip though with the yz.

None yet, chomping at the bit for the first one.
Finally got to slay single track. I’d been wanting to do this for about ten years. 07007DED-7880-4BB4-9152-04BE72D9A1D7.jpg

I did bro, you know how it is. I love my WR450F, but those new models are calling my name. It is just so hard to let go now that I got her all fixed up. For a 13 year old carbed bike this thing absolutely pulls down low. You sneeze near the throttle and this thing is going 12 o'clock.

Had a blast in the dirt with her this weekend

just thinking out loud, if your bike is all fixed up to your liking what would be the advantage of a new bike?
