    Man being a Vikings fan is such a rollercoaster of emotions. This game was kind of like a season condensed down. Initial excitement going in, let down and ready to give up early on, surging back and giving us hope, battling back, having the win in the grasp of our hands, making stupid plays to throw away that chance, ultimately losing and feeling completely dejected. The only thing better would have been losing it by missing a kick in the final seconds!

    Usually I'd defend Kirk, but that was definitely his error throwing that interception on 1st and goal. Should have just thrown it away and run the ball in like we had done to get up to that point. That would have been the game winning touchdown if we could have gotten it.

    I like him as a person (he took full responsibility unlike some diva QB who'd deflect and/or make excuses), but I don't have any belief he is elite. I'd say good but not great, top half probably. But we should have a good enough team to elevate him.

    I will say that this year will make or break him. If he does well and gets us to the playoffs and beyond, they'll extend his contract. If he continues to play like he did today, they'll probably draft his replacement to sit behind him for the last year of his contract and then he'll be out the door.

    Afraid so. They were moderately not awesome (translation- they spent most seasons sucking pretty hard, except for when they got our hopes up during the regular season and then yanked the rug out from under us during the playoffs)

    On the other hand, it looks like it might be a rough season to be a Miami fan this year. And it looks like the Zebras still don't like the Saints...

    Yeah but at least he only missed 2 :laugh:

    Colts fans must be nervous now, though. First their QB retires, now their most reliable player tanks two kicks and says that maybe he'll retire...next it'll be the entire O-line :goingcrazy:
