Well I had to make a run to car toys for a different harness. Needed the Toyota premium audio harness. Then I finally crashed from lack of sleep. But now I'm confused because I'm left with a blue power antenna wire, and a black and white amp ground wire. I don't know what to do with them. I want to just tie the amp ground into the other chassis ground wires.

    Update.

Got the pioneer in the dash, the steering wheel controls work, the touch screen works, it's paid with my phone but the speakers don't seem to work.

Now with this harness there's no wires to wire into the pioneer speaker wires. However there are av cables. I followed the directions and plugged each color coded cable from the harness into the pioneers red and white av cables but I have no sound.

Do some research on Tundra harnesses. On the Taco there is a seperate plug I thought.

Are your speakers just wired into the stock harness? If so and you dont want to run new wires you’ll need to find what wires on the stock harness are for the speakers

I'm about to start.messin with it again. But I think one of my tundra people solved the puzzle. I left the power antenna to the radio taped.uo with no mate because there wasn't a blue and white wire on the Toyota harness. I've been told that wire powered the premium audio amp in my dash. So I'm going to wire it into the other blue power and see what happens

Makes sense. I didnt know you had an oem amp. Careful that it wants speaker level inputs or you could mess it up

I'm actually toying with the idea of putting a forward camera in mine for crestover visibility.

I know on the Tacoma’s it takes some special adapters and wiring to use it. Might be easier to just run your own wires and bypass the amp.

Spoke with Crutchfield a third time ordered the third and final possible harness known as the amp bypass.
Found the amp under the pass rear seat.
Buttoned it all up for now. Will try again in a few days when harness arrives time permitting. Time for bed. Work at 8pm
