If you have ABS you might have problems. If you dont you'll be fine. Simple as that.

Love mine & couldn't be happier. I would have gladly paid up to $100 for it. For the price a Scan Guage costs I would not have bought any scanner like this & could live without at that price.

are there any gauges that arent available for our trucks that you wish were available on the ultragauge?

I really want to see a voltmeter oil pressure and transmission temp.

I really havent thought of many other gauges that I would like to see. what is good to know???

Pretty sure oil pressure isn't known and/or available on first gens. Trans temp would have to be custom entered (not possible with ultragauge, but is with Scangauge). Volts should be available though.

You about covered what I'd like to be available on the UG, as it really looks like a better product than the SG, but with out the option to enter custom scan codes, its a deal breaker for me.

I don't have abs either. The only gauges I wish it had was oil pressure and volt meter, but I can deal with it.

i like mine so far. i mostly got it for the MPGs which i really like but after my first tank of gas it looked to be a little off but i think thats cuz it wasnt topped off. it said i averaged 21 but i figured it to be 19.5

im happy tho really good deal for the money

This thread is nine years old.

I'm assuming UltraGauge has figured out the ABS issues.
