Hey @mesojdm any option to just get the harness? I already purchased LED lights for my tails a long time ago, so don't really need the whole set. Of all the lights, I may be interested in the switchback for the turn signal/reverse light. Thanks!

Got my notification email that stage 1 was back in stock. I grabbed my phone and completed the order as quick as I could - success!

Received package today (less than a week to Canada)

    10 minute install. Thanks @MESO !

Hey guys so I. Just want to update everyone on the tail by turn mod. I just did it after reading 30 pages on here. I have 2 6ohm resistors running to get rid of the hyper flash when the headlights are on. I just ordered the 9 ohm ones to replace it tomorrow. It's an easy mod but the resistors are annoying as heck. If anyone has any questions I will be glad to help.

Glad to see someone else jumping in and doing it themselves! I think the ideal resistance dummy load is between 10 and 15 ohms, as I explained here on page 36.

Makes a lot of sense. I'm at about 12 with the 2 wired in line. And I saw the same thing I didn't see the 12 so went for the 9.

And of. Course you posted on page 36. I only made it to 30 haha. Thanks for sharing it. I will def play around with it some more and see what happens

Thanks for your help. Forgot to post! I used the sylvania 7443R they are bright as fk, TAT and 50w 6ohm from diode dynamics

I did turn as tail mod. Used Morimoto resistors. 0 issues in over a yr.

Liked the look of the full "C" or brackets ([ ]) depending on how you see it. I didnt want to splice or tap into any of my OEM harness so I spent some time sourcing/finding the mating pairs of connectors. Eventually found some on Aliexpess, Chinese connectors but they click in; so good enough for me. Got everything together and made a PnP harness. So far so good but haven't gone through the full testing of it to make sure it didnt hyper flash.

The quality of the connectors are not as nice as OEM but for something like this, where there is no engine heat, I think they will be gtg.

Not so great. Lol I eventually got to testing and I had hyper flashing. Little troubleshooting and found I wired my resistor wrong. Put both leads on the output side of the TaT module, essentially negating its purpose. Rewired and tested, all gtg but my harness isnt as nice looking now. :(

EDIT: Went with 25W 10Ohm resistors I got on Amazon.

I just wired in the diode dynamics tails as turn module w/ jdm astar bulbs. Where do you wire in the resistors? Before the module or after? I wired them after & when I signal the lights cancel out. I also have error free lasfit bulbs for my front turn signals. Not sure if that’s why it cancels out when I signal?

What do you mean cancel out? They hyper flash? The resistors need to be wired before the output side of the module. Pretty much like how the diagram shows. I did have to get another set of resistors when I replaced my front bulbs with LEDs as well.

Meaning they don’t blink at all. Okay I had them wired after the module.
