They would be trimmed to epoxy into the vent holes. The epoxy doesn't hold in there well on it's own in that application and I don't want to sand that much to make a nice opening. So, the abs will be epoxied in place and will help seal up all the exposed core and fiberglass

I just ordered some additional seal tape for the door on the camper. I may go to a bigger bulb seal but I'm going to try adding a ribbed tape seal to the camper to see if that helps. I'm getting some leaking when we get huge downpours especially when driving at higher speeds. The idea is to have the bulb seal on the door mate up to the ribbed flat seal on the jamb. It should compress well and the ribs may help with sealing since it would create more of a labyrinth for the water to get through.

I also just went crazy and ordered a hopefully sweet dual battery management system. I should have a Redarc Manager 30 in my hands end of next week. With electrical stuff, I go for simple install every time. This looks like a good system for that even though it's probably overkill. I like that it doesn't require the main and house batteries to be the same makeup. Frees me up to have a flooded lead acid starting battery for simplicity and easy maintenance with the OEM alternator and an AGM house battery for lots of reserve capacity. The manager 30 is a charger as well so it should take good care of my AGM battery as they can be finicky in that department. I like that it's also solar agnostic and manages that charge as well as shore power. All in one with tons of options. Should I start a new thread for the dual battery stuff or keep it here?
