^^This is true. You can't put a crack addict in charge of a crack house any more than you can put a tool addict in charge of a HF!

This is by far my favorite tool I’ve bought at HF. Great for those cool over bolts as well as some shocks that require you to hold it as you wrench

Series 2 are solid boxes; definitely higher quality than the originals. My location is around alot of local auto shops so we sell alot of boxes.

Return policy never changes. 90 days with receipt unless you have the replacement plan(always recommended). We try to “Do the right thing” but we do get it wrong sometimes.

Does anybody have any experience with this auger? Renting one will cost me close to this one at coupon price.

How long you need the rental for? Neighbor rented a pretty bad ass one from Home depot for like $85 for 24 hours.

I got a HF workbench stool, funnel and wire brush set this weekend. The stools structure is def pretty good but the cushioning seems on the cheaper side. Might rip over time but overall good

I rented the home depot one a few yrs ago to put in a fence for my parents. About the price you posted for a day.
I'm considering the harbor freight one, as I need to install new fences for my mom again, and also a fence at my own place. Dont really want to have to get both done in 1 day.

Will you use is a lot of just for one job? i would rent one if thats the case. You wouldnt have to have it laying around doing nothing when youre finished.

I've seen that since last month. The reason for my previous question.

If renting is at least 90% or paying full price, I will always buy. Plus next time I need it I won't have to drive to HD, wait, deal with stupid ass employees (not always), come back home, do the work, clean the tool, drive back and return.

Just want to add to this thread. I used the compression tester from HF (SKU 62638) to test compression on outboard motor. Got abnormally low numbers for the performance I was getting. Checked it with a quality craftsman borrowed from a friend, more than 30 psi off.

Too late to return it so it’ll probably end up tossed. Don’t waste your hard earned cash. Kinda makes me question everything from HF that is supposed to give specific info (torque wrenches, air pressure gauges, etc)

I have always been sceptical of their stuff...however i needed a hammer drill to drill 8 -1/2 " holes in rock and then epoxy allthread into it. Sooo...i purchased the $94 rotary sds hammer drill...it worked great..and have done 2 other jobs where it worked fine...i did buy bosch drill bits...if i was younger i would have bought the $300 bosch...but at my age i would never wear it out...so the harbor freight worked great...i have already got my money back...

Fair enough. Then i say buy it! ha

haha youre very impatient i see haha but i get what your saying. Me personally would not want to move it, trip over it and let it collect dust. To each their own obviously. He likes tools so i will encourage him to get more! haha
