    Which BBS Tundra wheels?

I bought a set for $400 a couple of years ago. I've never seen a set over 800

Don't get me wrong, the OR is a nice truck. And very capable. I just want the best of the best, of the best. Then I want to make it even better. :D

For those that put down a deposit how much did your dealer ask for? Mine is asking for 2K... for the OR. Just curious.

One asked for $500. The other didn’t ask for one at all.

In Canada I spoke to a dealer that wants $1000 deposit, they offered me $1000 below MSRP for a 2020 TRD sport. Thinking about going back and saying if they go $2000 off I’ll sign right away lol said it could be delivered within 2 weeks

Overlanding is something that is popular in Australia and Africa. The people that do it legit live out of their rigs. Most folks in the US think overlanding is going off-roading and camping for the weekend.

I'm still waiting on mine. Negotiated & placed order on Friday the 13th, sales manager told me that it could take a week to find out if the order was accepted by Toyota. Hopefully I will get the acceptance & build info by the end of the week. I guess my local dealer doesn't move a lot of Tacoma's so they don't get any priority. They do all right with the Tundra's, tho. Saw 3 Army Green Tundra's there last week. Tacoma's? Not so much.

You don't pay tax when you sell a car (that I'm aware of). In Florida when you buy a vehicle, the tax is forwarded to the state. When you buy a car at the dealer they take care of the registrations and taxes for you. In theory, you could say you're going to do that all on your own, which then you would take the bill of sale to the department of motor vehicles and pay the sales tax and registration fees on your own. I don't think the dealer would ever give you that option, but I'm just trying to point out that the dealer takes care of all the state fees for you and they are able to roll it into your financing.

The tax breaks that are being talked about the tax on the purchase price after the allowance for the trade is factored in.

For example, if the tax rate is 10% and you go and buy a $40k truck, then you're going to pay $4k in taxes. However, if you have a trade that they give you $20k for, then your taxable amount on that new truck is now $20k, so you only pay $2k in taxes.

If you can get more than $22k for that trade, then it's worth it to sell private sale. If not, then the tax break is a better deal.

Damn, that sucks. I've been sending emails and no one will quote me on a 2020 limited in Orlando.

I'd pretty much do a fly and buy anywhere at this point for a Super White limited 4x4 if they could get me $40k otd.

My salesman doesn’t have a clue. I like working with him and I don’t think they move as many trucks as some of the higher volume dealers in the area. Just waiting on that information.

I have a few connections with both my salesman & sales manager, so I don't wan't to ditch them for another store. Not sure if they have a clue or not, but pretty sure they aren't BS-ing me, so I'll stick with them (until they give me a reason not too :D)

I started talking about the different things the 2020 PRO has and my guy didn't have a clue about any of it. He was either playing dumb or really didn't have a clue.

Personally, I think they always want to sell you something on the lot. Could be a tactic. Slow roll it until your customer just comes in and buys something that is in stock.

40k for a 4x4 is probably wishful thinking, MSRP is 42.9. So Maybe 40+taxes is more feasible.
