Can you fit a 29er on tailgate pad with this cover?

What did you use to mount the lights onto behind the grill?

I have the same head lights, TRD Pro - the internal housing is blacked out but the lens is clear. Looking at it straight on it's hard to see that. Same with the TRD Pro tail lights.
But as you said to each his own. Enjoy your Taco!

Painting them black might make the pointer more noticeable. One of the first minor annoyances when I first got my Taco... Wasn't easy to tell at a glance where the dials were set.

On that subject... Has anyone ever looked for a way to make that triangle for the hazard lights normally red? I know it glows red when it's on, but when I'm hunting for the hazard light button, I'm looking for something red.

i made a mount out of 1'x1' aluminum square stacked on top of each other.
mounted those to a cross member just under the shroud, and attached the lights to them.
painted those black so you cant see em.

Finally got around to installing a dual USB power socket straight to the battery for always-on operation. While in there, I pulled out the lighter socket and wired in to the same source. Fused, of course.

USB socket from CH4X4 Yes, that's the Small size.

    usb1.jpg

I have 3 items to plug in to run APRS or Wires-X while mobile...don't want to reset everything when I stop at the convenience store and such.

    usb2.jpg

'Bout time I got around to doing this! Today is the 1yr anniversary of purchase!

    Carry On!

Yep! I don't know what I hate more...re-setting things after a stop for gas, or not being able to leave my phone in the truck to charge...problem solved for about $30 :D

Good choice! In the spring and fall it gets foggy around here pretty often...mine have worked very well. Much better than the white stock fogs that just made a wall of white in front of you.

I didn't take anything apart. The blank, and the lighter socket can be popped out using a small flat head screwdriver. The wire is routed through the firewall as usual, tie-wrapped up under the driver side, fished from the passenger side along the floor in front...there's a small space that goes all the way through...then I used a long tie-wrap, pushed through from the front (spare space in panel) and came out the right at the floor. Pulled the wire in from there. IF that makes any sense...
