Fuck me bro and I thought I was adulting...granted I don’t have a yard but I have only done two of those items.

 

Yup, I did laundry and cleaned last night before I fell asleep for about 4 and a half hours.

 

Haha that resume scares me man.

My dr told me that 4 hours of sleep a night is one way they torture people.

 

Regular life stuff, how are you supposed to keep the house clean, make dinner, lay down the good pipe and hit the gym at 5 a.m. #bachelorproblemz Damn girls keep me up all night....

 

Should've known my little chase/brake light bar project would hit a snag. Duh moment...had to order a converter to separate the turn/brake to just a brake output. I could wire it to the existing 3rd, but the whole point is to have a 4-pin flat connect/disconnect for when I mount/remove my RTT.

 

Just noticed a nail in my tire. spending rest of my day off waiting for my tire to get repaired or replaced @Discount Tire .

Wish they had a tire repair express lane.

Oh well I didn't need to do my landscape today anyhow.

I like the idea of easy connect/disconnect, but where to tap power? Ive been toying with the idea of mounting work lights on telescopic poles for aerial lighting purposes but my ADD hasn’t settled on a final location. Shop lights and an extension cord work with the 120v for now but wanting something more modular and convenient for faster set up and tear down.

 

I used a Curt adapter (didn't want to hack the factory wiring) that goes between my 7-pin connector and kicks out a 4-pin pigtail that I ran into the bed under the mat...from there, the running lights supply power to the chase lights (which also has a switch inline), and the soon-to-be-here converter will supply the brake.

You could potentially use the same adapter and splice into the 12V line that goes to the 7-pin? I might do that for some bed lighting...

Run a power cable direct from the battery to the bed cubby holes. Could have a short coil of wire in the cubby to extend to your lights or run the wire from your lights into the cubby hole. Unplug and remove when not in use.

Add in a circuit breaker or 2. I have a bunch of 35 or 50v resettable breakers. Would be happy to give you a couple.
