    I think it's the bigger injectors, like mentioned above you need a piggyback to control those properly without having them dump too much fuel (running rich)

    Nah, need something to control the injectors. Stock ECU is very simple and can only do limited "self tuning"

    Ok the running rich is getting out of control. Truck is running really rough at times. Gas mileage dropped like crazy. Got around 120 miles on the last tank. Getting exhaust odor with some white smoke.

    I need to get a piggy back fast.

    My current concerns are if I get the fic6 and wire it up to an auto and later change the ecu to a 5speed M/T will any of it be affected and need to be rewired?
    Also I found this write up from @mudthedoor and it looks a bit complicated. With URD they only have 4 or 5 wires that get spliced in and seems a lot easier.

    Also need recommendations on what AFR gauge/sensor to use? and if I understand correctly I will need to tap this into the exhaust (cant use the stock 02 sensor location?)

    I can't help on the FIC6 unfortunately but the AFR gauge has to be welded into the exhaust before the 1st cat (can't use the stock O2 sensors). Has to be a wideband sensor which is what the AFR kit comes with. Just drill a hole after the headers and before the cat, weld a bung into place and thread the O2 sensor that is supplied with the AFR kit into there. Then wire it up to the gauge.

    It's pretty easy, I had a shop drill and weld the bung in place and then I installed the sensor/gauge myself. I used the Innovate one that's pretty common on here.

    Do you run 2 gauges? I was looking in to fining one that could show both the Boost and the AFR.

    I think @1997tacomav6 has one that shows boost and AFR. I run two separate gauges, a TRD boost gauge and the AFR gauge right next to it so I don't have to look in two separate places to see the info.

    I had a shop do it for me but the failsafe on this particular gauge does not actually shut the methanol off but it shows a warning light.
    You can set the parameters for that.
    The next model up has a valve that will shut the vacuum off to the supercharger

    It's really a super slick gauge you can set the Boost as your primary or only boost or you can do the air fuel ratio as your primary and your Boost secondary or you can just do air fuel ratio there's a lot of different things that it does if you read through the YouTube demonstration on it wish I put this in long time ago, even shows your Peak boost for whenever you've been driving until you shut the truck off and then resets itself.

    You can wire in the shift light that tells you when to shift your gear if you're trying to race somebody I did not wire that part in a light comes on you can set that for 5000 RPMs so you don't have to look at your tachometer

    Did your gauge come with a black screen that you can change out?

    My face choices were black or white if I remember
    The maker of my gauge is very very well-known and they make top quality gauges

    I bought my pot off eBay, remember there's two ponds types one for the early Tacoma and one for the later Tacoma

    Went with the Innovate Motorsports 3892 PSB-1. Now to weld the O2 bug in place.

    I can grab one for you later but it's after the headers and before the 1st cat. Only a small area there that it can go on. The guy that did mine said you can drill it into the headers but he doesn't recommend that.

    Heads up

    The new Snow Methanol kits come with a boost gauge in the controller, good luck finding one likehttps://www.tacomaworld.com/members/113940/ I tried to order one 3 times from 3 different vendors. They all refunded my money stating “out of stock”. This is because most vendors just ship it from Snow. If you are lucky, you might find someone on eBay that has one in their inventory.

    The control has changed from a rectangle control (see John’s) to this round standard gauge style one:
