I actually love the look of the one I have now. The new one is going to be great for shipping and flexibility.

Yep! Here is another pic. Modular and ready for rotopax mounts, quick fists etc. Eddy doesn't make them like Rob's anymore either. Even the tubular ones he's making modularish as in bolt together at the mid section. For shipping purposes.
This one is all sheet aluminum that he bent and then ran tubular cross bars. He took input from guys in the BS thread when they first started the design of this and he implemented some of the critiques and will be changing some things on the future ones that he couldn't change right away on this one.

Wait your truck will need a new frame better get in on the recall deal they just extended it all the way to 2016s apparently now. Also even if you don't get one I was just going to cut the rust out of mine and patch it back together. No part out

I'm just aggravated they didnt fix it like they said they did. I have been scraping and repainting every rust spot on mine every year since I started seeing people have the nightmare frame replacement stories.

Mine went smooth as butter! I couldn't of been more impressed with how mine turned out. I wheeled it 3 days after picking it up nothing and I mean nothing has been loose, no check eng. lights, no weird shit. The tech that did mine lost time on it.

Burlington. Last I heard he was retiring soon I think this year possibly. Maybe next. But they were straight up with me and said he's going to be hard to replace and were looking hard for a replacement that is as good as him. I think he was also the guy that all the new kids mentored under as well. Talking with the service manager this guy seemed a lot more to the dealership than just a tech.

Nope. I love mine so much I siliconed it to the softopper rack :rofl:also have a bunch of wiring ran all around it for deer spoting... I mean camp lights:anonymous:. I drilled around a dozen holes in it for the unistrut too.

I was just kidding about the part out. When I sell my truck it will be everything included. I hate trying to sell stuff.

@ovrlndkull did they do the rust prevention spray on yours or go right for the frame replacement?

The truck had the rust prevention done first but that happened before I owned the truck.

Camped thursday to sunday at overland expo arrington VA . See the pics on IG @Sos_Expo

Had the best time in the camping area. Expo was ok but it's the user built rigs that I really liked. I met a couple that traveled 350k miles a living out of a Kia all over the world.
