At the dunes, truck is running great, was loosing power at full throttle, i think it was the protect high load stuff, max out the delay and adjusted max fuel to match my fuel setting now it seams fine.

Pulls straight up the dunes no bogging, used to stall out on big dunes, now just holds steady and pulls. Between 3000 and 4000 this engine has tons of torque.
I also have 5th gear in 4 low for cruising.

I've definitely noticed the power loss in the dunes! Good to know there's a way around that

I even notice on my street pulls something seamed weird and at the dunes the pulls are so long you know for sure something is up, but ran again today and no problems so I must have fixed it... 3rd in 4low 3500-4000 will climb any dune with no bogging, just climbs right up......

Lost my tail pipe on the dunes today, so my new exhaust project is being stated early. For N/A do you guys like 2.5 or 3 inch??? I had a 2.5 cat back, and seams like it runs better without the tail plpe.

Lost your tail pipe? Like the whole muffler or just the tip of the exhaust after the muffler?

It broke at the muffler so I had to tear it off, so I still have a muffler, just no tail pipe. It was old and rusted I knew it about done. Have to fix/upgrade it now.

If it broke after the muffler, the truck shouldn’t run any different than before. Might have a different sound in the cab based on where the muffler was located and where it broke, but there will be no performance gains. Not saying that you shouldn’t do something about it, just saying that your truck magically running better because you lost the last 3 feet of tube after the muffler is probably in your head because it sounded better from the drivers seat.

Anytime I have ever been in the dunes 4low and 3rd gear has been the sweet spot for sure.

Component protect section, high load settings, max delay and matching the the max F/A ratio to match my high load F/A . Nothing shows up on logs, demanded fuel shows the same and I'm past the range of the o2 sensor so is just maxed out. But no more problems so I can only assume that in high load it was changing the fuel. I don't know if it adds or replaces the fuel settings. I may also match the high load map to my high load settings to 0 everything out.

    Hi guys,

Just letting you know we've been working on a lot of writing improvements over the past few weeks. Faster writes and better recovery methods coming soon!

Also, the 2TR work got a little bit backburnered for now but hopefully will pick it up again soon.

    Chris...
