    Ah ok, don't keep up with the Steelers so didn't realize their backup QB was a high draft pick. Still, seems odd to use up a first round pick when it looks like they are going to tank this year anyway. Though I guess if their were planning on using it on a DB anyway, at least this way they get him a year of experience and hopefully are ready to go for next year then.

    He is. The fact that they gave up a first round pick for Minkah speaks to their trust in Rudolph, and Ben will be back next year anyways. He’s not having TJ surgery, it’s much less invasive.
