Thinking about trading my 05 Tacoma for a 09.

I'm on the fence. Do I move to a new truck or keep mine. I have 97,500 miles on my 05. I wanted to hear opinions.

I may switch from a 05 4x2 DC to a 09 4x2 DC.

If you go with the TRD, then you get a backup camera

If you can afford it, go for it. Who doesn't want a new truck? I finally hit 32K miles on my '05 this afternoon, lol.

TRD is a bit pricey for a street truck. But a backup camera would be nice for hooking up my boat.

 

Oh part of the deal will be keeping the wheels. I told them that. I'm using carsdirect to find me a deal.

I'd do it but I don't keep vehicles for more than 3 years. This one MIGHT be different but that remains to be seen.

Maybe go for the TRD Sport if you're planning on keeping it on the street?

 

I'd wait until it's paid off, drive it for one year with no payments.

 

hell.....if you can afford it, trade for an 09!! they got some pretty sweet new colors!!

Whats wrong with that? Shouldn't have a problem putting 200K on it. You can be sure you got your money's worth also.

be advised your gonna get a different differential. i personally like the 05-08 lsd better compared to the new 09 lsd
