Sorry I’ll post pictures of the lid. It has a formed lid that is fixed and water sealed for just that reason . But thank you for the input that’s a good eye :hattip:

Nice craftsmanship! I would be interested in the rear panel and overhead switch panel.

As for suggestions I have a couple.

    1. With the rear panel, offer different or less switches. I think it looks a little bit busy. Might drive the cost down to have one with less electronics.

    2. Might also just offer the metal panel itself for those who want to do something custom with it (not sure yet what that would be)

    3. CB radio mount for some of the common locations (under dash, ash tray etc)

    4. CB antenna mount ( I know a few others around here make these occasionally)

    5. Bed mount battery box. (A project I will be working on) - Space for a deep cycle battery to be installed safely (rubber shock resistant etc), Fuse panel, voltage readout. Hookup for solar to recharge and or option for trickle charger leads.

    6. Finally and not electronic but a cargo system for the bed would be cool. With adjustable tie downs, rails for accessories (tool boxes, pull out drawers etc)

Wish you the best of luck with your new endeavour and will be happy to help support a good craftsman!

    1. The rear electrical panel will come with multiple options as far as switches. I can see where it may look a bit busy.

    2. The panel will be offered “unloaded”

    3. Not a bad idea

    4. There’s quite a few companies that make cb antenna mounts. It might come to a point to where i don’t like what’s out there and do one.

    5. This would be a special order custom type thing for me. There’s so many battery boxes out there I’d have a hard time selling what I do for a battery storage system. I think most will just got with the 50 summit.com box

    6. This is definitely happening, I’m currently working on storage systems for behind the seats in extended cab, around rear seat in dc, headliner cargo attics, and bed storage.

Thank you very much for your comments! I appreciate you taking the time...:hattip::cheers:

Got the first mock up of the overhead switch panel. I’m liking what I have so far. I still have some design editions to play with but for those of you asking I’m putting in the footwork. Hopefully I’ll have a prototype done sooner than later and I’ll post pictures.

Thanks for all the support everyone I’m fuckn pumped :muscleflexing:
