I put money down on Saturday on a Pro. Got no build date and no time frame.

I "ordered" my 2018 and saved almost $7000 off MSRP. Granted this was after I picked the dealer I wanted to go with after emailing like 50 dealers and narrowing down which one to choose. But I got exactly what I wanted even though I had to wait like 4 months after spending a few weeks emailing dealers.

Yeah it was like 3 and a half months. I wanted white and for some reason they couldn't locate a white Off-Road in manual with premium and tech. So a cement opened up which is the other color I wanted so I went with that.

$33,500 before taxes and fees. 2018 6MT Off-Road with premium and tech. This is in the Southeast fwiw.

Did you have any dealer connects in AZ? I remember you mentioning it a little while back.

I'm not far from Marietta but purchased in SC. I also bought earlier in the year. The truck you posted doesn't have the premium package which is about $2000 for MT, not sure about the tech package which adds about $800. That is a good deal though! Does Marietta still offer the lifetime powertrain warranty?

I have a delivery date range of 10/26-11/10. Its far off because I have a MT with no premium ordered. Is it normal, as of right now, for my dealer to NOT have an actual build date? Perhaps it is since I'm still 6-8 weeks out?

FYI: For the OP and others, as I've posted in a few other threads, I've ordered a 2020 Cement DCSB OR 6MT with Tech and LED headlight package. MSRP $38,100 my price ~$36,300.

when i was looking the trd sports were the only ones with MT's they were usually 700-1000 less than the similar truck. so perhaps it all averages out to the same cost.

They do offer the warranty. Ideally that is a great deal for people who dont mod their truck or do their own maintenance. They hesitated at the idea of me doing my own oil changes which was enough for me to walk out the door. which is funny because they hire guys from the local super lube and pay them low wages to do oil changes (master techs arnt doing this work). i went up the road and got the same deal maybe less at the next dealership.

I didn't ever get a build date with my truck. I just kept being told they couldn't locate what I wanted because it was so rare. It was getting to be months and I told them it was unacceptable and I wanted my deposit back. They located the cement and that's the only other color (originally ordered white) I wanted so I went with that, I like it better anyway.

Manuals are generally cheaper but since you can't ever find them on the lot and pretty much always have to "order" them, I feel like dealers almost always charge more for them.

I'm the same way, I do my own maintenance too. I just found the cheapest truck in the configuration I wanted. My friend that lives downtown bought his 17 4Runner from Marietta for the warranty and I remember him saying that his experience there was not good either. Granted he's not really a do it yourself kind of guy.
