    Didn't do well on the bass today, but caught some nice bluegill(?).

    It's really hard to tell, I've been looking at a chart of all the species and it doesn't look like a perfect match for any of them to me. I know there are hybrids too. Maybe that's why they just call them bream haha. My buddy who was with me calls them goggle eye, now my head is spinning.

    According to the article I cited goggle eye is another name for the warmouth fwiw :)

    2002 Tacoma TRD Offroad 3.4L 5spd
    In central PA on the Susquehanna River. Most average around the 32-37'' but occasionally we catch a 43'' or 46''. I have a 1448 Jon with 25hp prop and the river is super rocky and gets really shallow. Kind of hard getting around in summer but my dad just got a 1860 Jon with 80jet about 4 months ago and my brother bought a 1756 that he's putting a jet on so I foresee more fish in the future haha. I'm just getting out of the military and looking at getting a 1660 or 1860 with a jet this winter. Should have more time to fish next year also.
