I also just want more exposure to some flow trails, and Oak Mtn seems better for that for sure.

yeah that's what people were saying if you want a bigger table wait a year, but that's the niche market they're filling is small quality tables. At $2500 shipped to your house spec'd out it's a good deal compared to most everything else.

 

You would love going to Chewacla State Park down in Auburn. They have so much MTB stuff now. When I was down there they had just completed a wall ride section. Would be worth camping down there and riding for a weekend IMO.

 

you've seen my videos, so you see my skill level as of last weekend lol. that sinks trail video is the hardest I've done skill-wise. I've gone a lot faster and done more flow stuff on other trails at Monte Sano but I'm as beginner as they come man, you'll be able to stick with me just fine.

Looks like I can get a full 80 cfm for $200 out the door with $24 refills

Not a bad deal. Is it possible to buy a 120? That's what I have. Lasts a long time.

Anyway, I just lay it down in the truck bed and strap it in. Make sure when you unload it and get it vertical again, you let it sit for an hour to let all the liquid gas to settle before use. Not sure how valid that is, but its what folks say to do so that's what I've always done.

There is a gas and supply and a local place in between my work and my wife’s, so convenience wins on that one. The local place is higher on the bottle and the refill, which is sad.

 

That sucks. I've always wondered how I got that 120 bottle. No one else sells that big to non-commercial welders. Fine by me though.

 

I’m ok with an 80. At standard flow rates, it’ll last me 4 hours of welding time (which is a lot for me).

 

You weld for 4 hours straight and you're hands will catch on fire and your face will melt. Lol.
