Is that a 2/2”? I always get a kick out of mid install pics and see how every tool seems to migrate out to the work area even though all of the instructions say you need just a “few” tools. Sucks about the leak, should be a fairly easy fix. Lift looks good.

Might as well do the ECGS bushing while you are in there. You can get them to send you a new OEM seal too.

9210D857-AABB-4ACF-8810-0D1715494A77.jpg That’s what caused the leak. I damaged the front inner wheel seal upon removal of the cv axle. Oops. Good thing it’s cheap.

That seal gets pressed into the spindle and wouldn't be anywhere that it would stop a leak. I think you need part #90311-47027, as that would keep gear oil from dripping out of the front diff.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Yo yo, I am bringing my LC buddies Adian and Patrick with me. Maybe some of you met them at the GSMTR event at Windrock this year.

So two more peeps, they are sleeping out of there LCs.

Someone setup a maintenance day (like a mod day, but for maintenance). I'd offer, but I don't have much space...yet.

@DF4x4 needs help replacing his u-joints.

Anybody got the tools to do a CV axle reboot? I think the ones I'm missing are the c-clip pliers and boot clamp crimper. I have a reboot kit for my OEM axle that I need to use. I just haven't been able to justify the money on the extra tools that i need.

of course, I'll be cursing the day when my other axle fails and I don't have one ready to go in.

No, but I would be interested in rebuilding the FJC one I'm about to remove.

I'm down to host a Monday here soon. I'm out on a job-site this week or else I'd make another thread. But I may just wait until after the camping trip
