Good morning! It looks like I'm moving to VT. Pending a conversation with my boss about officially working remote full time, but my wife got an offer yesterday that meets our needs for a job she wants, and now we're house hunting. Something in the Montpelier area is our goal, garage is a must.

On a different note, if anyone in the central MA area is looking to get an exhaust reroute done, I just had mine done by Jeff's Garage in Charlton, and I would vouch for his work. It wasn't the cheapest job ~$200, but that's the stainless pipe, replacing a couple of gaskets, and 2 hours of labor.

We are doing it with this trip mostly for time constraints. 5 hour drive for me, 6 and a half for my buddy, if we were camping it takes up a lot of fishing time. Setting up camp, cooking outside, breakfast and coffee time... the cabin allows us to show up on Thursday, drop the boat in the water and head out fishing. Wake up the next morning and coffee, breakfast and go. Maximize the fishing time.

Well, it's a move we've both wanted to make since before we were together, we finally just said "F it!" and we're going for it. I got the go-ahead from my manager to be full time remote, so now we just need to figure out housing. I think we're going to try to rent my current house and buy a second house up there.

My place left a couple doors open with the AC still on. Felt like I was in the freezer.

Just got the new treads and wheels on yesterday, got a rub

I’m going to remove the mud flap now, but not sure this will solve the issue.

There are 265/70R17s. Everything I found and read said no rubbing.

I was about to ask about the alignment as well but also keep in mind that all wheel sizes are generally the same but the aggressive tread on each specific brand of tire can be a little bit different. I had BFG KO2'S in that size before my lift with no rubbing but very close. The mud flaps will ake a difference and maybe a small trim in the rear bottom plastic. Gives you a reason to start looking at lifts....lol

No not yet, it’s in the plan, only cause I’ve read it here many times. Driving home last night, seemed 99% straight, little pull to the shoulder. It seems that the passenger side wheel has just about 1 inch less clearance between the tire and back side of the wheel well than the drivers side. This doesn’t make sense to me, is this something that would be corrected with an alignment?

I want a lift, just not ready for that yet. I’m hoping that when I start adding weight, it becomes a have no choice item then. I took the mud flap off, seems to be ok. I’ll keep an ear out and hope I don’t fuck up the new sneakers.

K, that’s the issue then, the passenger side is closer to the back of the wheel well than the drivers side.

    Time to make an appointment
