The inventory numbers are starting to climb on the 2020’s at Cars.com

They are at least expecting them to roll in soon to Washington State.

I was just told my truck was on a train in Minnesota but it might be a week and a half until I get it. Not sure how that works, but oh well.

I tried to get my wife to buy a Volvo XC90 but she wouldn't bite. She was coming from a Toyota Limited 4Runner with 3rd row and wanted a more easily accessible 3rd row. Big item for her was service. Closest Volvo dealer is 1.5 hours away. So, she went with a Ford Explorer Sport since the dealer is local (10 minutes) and it came with free oil changes, free tire rotations, free inspections and free engines for life. Oh well, I tried. The Explorer has been a nice vehicle but it's just a 2018 model with 22k miles on it. We'll see how it goes.

How did you get that from what I wrote? They are totally separate systems, see below.

    Thank you.

Canadian build limitations confuse me. Is there some reason they limit production to such specific configurations in Canada? Doesn't seem like it would be hard to just ship the same thing already going to the US a bit further north.

Agreed, makes no sense and quite limited. Especially if you want a MT

If you can't get what you want there, is it hard to just buy in the US and bring/import to Canada? Or is it too much hassle or too spendy?

pretty big hassle, usually need to get the speedo adjusted, activate DRLs. Plus CAD is crap compared to USD so it's no bueno

I guess it wasn't clear how and if they seamlessly worked together. I'm just imagining fairly hard braking from say 60mph on the highway....maybe not total emergency stop but quick enough that the ACC is braking fairly hard, then the speed drops down to 25mph and it just stops braking. I don't know how else I could interpret how the ACC worked by what you said. So the question was at 25mph is ACC like "here pre-collision braking, you better take over now" ??

Yesterday was literally the first day I've ever driven a vehicle with ACC (a Subaru Legacy) so I'm just not familiar with how these things operate. I let it brake to zero in a few instances to see how it reacted (while very nervously hovering over the brake pedal). It would have been not-ideal if the system just stopped working at 25mph while in a braking scenario.

In a non-emergency situation, you are expected to know when it cuts out and take control of the vehicle.

So for those who are placing orders on 2020 TRD Pros...what are you telling them? I've hit up six stealerships and none are even will to entertain the idea of ordering one for me. Maybe a Colorado issue?

I didn't "order" it per se, I put down a deposit on the first AG AT TRD Pro the dealer was getting. They happened to have just received a build date and spec sheet on it.

I told my local dealer back at the beginning of the summer that I wanted a 2020 pro. Then I hit him up last week and told him they should be available now from what I can see online. He checked, confirmed and asked what color and options I wanted. Told him and he called his regional manager to put the order in. Should be here middle of next month. I'm in Oklahoma.

How far out is the delivery date? Does anybody have an idea for the build dates on the MT Pros?

I'm supposed to have it by the end of next week. Supposedly it is in the state on a train somewhere. Basically it could be any day now.

Pretty much the closest i've gotten is a dealer telling me to call them back to reserve one in Dec so I can pick it up in Feb. I will be overseas until early next year so I have no problem waiting for one to get delivered but it seems to me that the stealerships aren't interested in taking my request THIS early. :violent:
