No problem. I was the one putting on the group buy but it died quick. And it wasn’t worth it after the Putnam on the Amazon coupon. Scoop them up while you can.

Yea, I am definitely buying one. Do you know if can I order from Amazon and be guaranteed one without the numbers on the side for a 3rd Gen?

I believe it’s just without numbers now. Just remember, if it fits a 2nd gen it’ll for the 3rd gen too.

Is that still true with the shark fin antenna on the 3rd?

I believe they changed their design to accommodate for it.

Cool, I don't use it but don't want to deal with removing it or modifying it either.

    Thanks again!

Test fitting. I’m gonna make bigger brackets to level out the rack.

Looks Great Matt! This is exactly what I am going to do when I get my cap. I am ordering it with the rails but no rack because I need something as close as possible to get into my garage. This is absolutely perfect.

Now, with that said, the cap I am ordering (when the time comes) is the MX so basically 4 - 5 inches higher than the cab. I never plan on spanning them both but for the guys that do I have to ask, won't there be too much flex to secure something to them both at the same time?

Thanks Rob. I don’t do much off-roading anyways. It’ll be fine for me. If you’re getting the rails installed, the roofs gonna be stronger from the factory. You’ll be okay.

Yea, I just want a rack up there for a water port and solar panels. Maybe some awnings.

I'm so glad I saw this thread and your rack mod! Again, great job!

I bought a second rack. Then, cut the rails to 3 inches. Drilled new holes. But, I’m making extension brackets out of the front fairing. It’s about an inch to inch and a half lower. I’ll post pictures of what I’m making tomorrow.
