    Afternoon Everyone !!!!! :hattip:

Just got back home from my Pre OP for my upcoming surgery in 17 days . Got all my Pre surgical tests done and everything is ready for surgery

The surgeon when I talked to him mentioned there's two Surgical procedures will be done depending on the damage they find when they open my knee up . One is just adding a shim to the knee replacement to adjust preload , Also removing scar tissue

The other is removing the old prosthesis and putting a new one in . But again it all depends on what they find . As for the hospital stay I can be in there from a minimum of 2 weeks to over a month

Most every USAF and I think other military aircraft mechanics can verify . If you worked on a plane with in the last 24 hrs and it goes down or comes back with an mechanical failure emergency you will be picked up and hauled in for a whiz quiz. It does not matter what you did if your name is in the forms as having worked / touched signed the forms off on the plane you have no option. Refusal will win you a trip to closed custody, Courts Martial and a trip to Kansas if the problem is actually traced to your work or system..

Yep, same for us in Air Trans ... vehicle or loading incident of any sort gets the quiz, no questions. As civilians, we sign an agreement when we accept the job. Civilians can also be randomly tested.
