A warning to those thinking of buying a FJ radiator CSF 7076 from ebay, atracingworld-usa (98.7% feedback, 69k+ auctions) currently has it for $280.95, it shows a shipping price but in the bottom of the ad it says over $100 ships free and lists the exact radiator for free shipping, so my total was $280 delivered, which I thought was a pretty good price (Discover IT card also has 5% back on ebay this month so Id be into it for $266). A few days after purchase, they asked me to call them by ebay message, then in later messages said that the radiator was damaged and they would refund me. They stated in the refund notes that I requested it be cancelled yet still show 2 more for sale the entire time and still do as of today. I looked over their feedback closer afterwards and see they did the same thing for a 7076 in the past month for someone who paid $360. I still have no idea why they cancelled, I have no negative feedback, paid right away, Im in the midwest so shipping rates shouldn't have been the reason why.

Ebay has gotten seriously flakey lately. I tried to buy something, but the Paypal portal wouldn't allow me to select an active credit card no matter what I did, so they dinged my account even though there was no way for me to pay. I realize that this is a different situation, but I've completely abandoned that site.

7076 or 7082? If the latter, did you have the same problem with the plastic top cover alignment? Did you solve the same way with zip ties? Thanks in advance.

Im curious on this too. Also, how were the fan shroud gaps on the sides? A previous picture posted by a 7082 owner had some gaps.
    Thanks.

7082, same problem with alignment, super easy fix with zip ties. I can post photos after work.

I didn't notice any major gaps on the sides, I'll double check after work but everything buttoned up nice other than the top cover

There isn't what I would call a MAJOR gap on the sides but there is a gap.

You can see it in my photos a page or so back.

Id would suggest informing csf of this if its not lining up due to bad isolators. On my 4runner everything is tight and lined up as oem when I swiched to csf. On my taco I'm looking forward to a great fit.

Agreed. However, in one of the posted pictures it looks like the passenger side radiator tank body is quite close to the core support. I don't know if its simply an isolator misalignment or if the dimensions just wont work for the width of the radiator and the depth.

This radiator can't go forward >

Took some measurements since I still have my old rad sitting on the garage floor.

The mounting point for the fan shroud is 1/2 closer to the engine than it is on the OEM radiator

Did CSF ever reply on the poor fitment issues of the upper radiator cooling panel (aka holes not lining up) when using the 7082?
I saw from oni06's screenshots that CSF says "people leave it off to show off the radiator" but it does appear to have more function than just appearance as it forces air through the radiator vs over it and into the engine bay. Thanks.

I also emailed a contact that I had at CSF about the top plate and never heard back. Shame. Seems like we will need to take it into our own hands to make it fit either with zip ties in the back or re drilling the front.

Also, seems like we should take it into ourselves to seal around the shroud, while stationary or very low speed any gap around the fan housing will result in substantially reduced flow through the radiator itself. At speed it won’t matter of course, that is all velocity pressure from the front

I got mine installed a while back. I was reading about 194 on a regular basis. At times it could go as high as 201, going up hill with a/c on.
I am now seeing an around 190-194. Not that I am not happy with the results, was hoping for a greater change, or at least stay closer to 185.

It's our thermostat. I'm convinced after having mine that I won't see temperatures below 190 regularly without going to a 160f thermostat.
