Just outside of Orlando. I've been waiting all year to get one hoping that they'd drop in price with the 2020's coming in. A local dealer was trying to get rid of them to make room for the 20's so it was worth the wait and worked out.

Just 2WD. It's my daily driver and I don't really need the 4wd. I'll take it camping and tow a small camper but I won't be doing crazy off roading with it. For now.... :)

Same here. I have a 2WD as well. Some TacomaWorld members are critical of 2WD, but I understand my driving habits and usage.

I learned a long time ago to do what is best for you and not worry about what everyone else is doing. If you need 4WD that's awesome. I don't need it right now so it wasn't worth the extra money for me personally.

Finally after 2 years of wanting to get a Tacoma, I finally got one. It was difficult to find a 2019 that had the Tech Package and not the premium.

    2019 TRD Off Road 4x4
    Tech Package
    Mud flaps

    MSRP - $38,759
Sale price before TTL - $33,350

This is exactly the same offer I have, but mine was an M/T. 34K out the door after accessories/TTL.

Dam straight. I have a 2019 Access cab V6 SR with SX package, have done less than 500$ in upgrades, (intermittent wipers, seat covers, fog lights, coin holder, tweeters) and have spent way way less than a lot of the folks on here. My other car is front wheel drive and I am retired, not interested in offroading etc so for me it was the right choice. Took my time found what I wanted and got a good deal as well. The info on the mods and how to do them has been really helpful I just ignore the B.S stuff, to old for that.

SO how's this look? Think there's any more wiggle room there? What's the negotiating tactic from here? This is basically the 2nd price I got emailing the internet sales rep. This price is throwing in the floor liners and removing the price they charge for pulse brakes.

2019 TRD OR 4x4 DCSB, bed cover, tech package
    MSRP: $39,280
Price: $34,464 including incentive and before TTL

$4,816 off MSRP isn’t bad. Me? I would wait until the last day of September and shoot for a better discount.

Yeah this truck has been sitting at least a month too. I hadn't inquired about it because their website pics were for a long bed. Walked the lot the other day and realized it was actually a short bed. Only one in the color I'm after, but I think there are more in the area.

So say I wait to the end of the month...how much more do I ask off?

I’d say shoot for a $6k discount from MSRP since it’s not a Pro. And if you want a long bed DO NOT SETTLE! You will regret your purchase in the long run. Best of luck...

Oh no, it was listed as a LB on their site but I'm looking for a SB. My instinct was to ask for another $1k off so making it an even $6k total makes sense.

The thought of a Pro is still on my mind. I just don't really like any of the colors for the long haul. Black would be my choice by not sure I want a black truck.

I posted this in another thread, but here is the breakdown on my 2019 Quicksand DCLB. I got it at a Carmax/Toyota lot, brand new (well, 15 miles on it). I'm happy with it, considering the Jeep Rubicon I was looking at was 10K more.

    MSRP: 37375
    Options:
    Wheel Locks 80
    Door Edge Guard 140
    Floor/Sill Liners 248
    Delivery Fee 1095

    Total with Options: 38938

    CarMax Price: 35498
    Toyota Cash Rebate: 1750

    Actual on-lot price: 33748

    Fee/Taxes/Title

    Processing Fee: 99
    6% MD Taxes: 2136
    MD Title Fee: 289

    Out the door price: 36272

Sounds great. Have them throw in a bed mat and rubber mats while you're at it.
