I could be wrong in how I handled my dealer, But they are waiting for a answer from Corporate on what to do because He could tell the truck had been bottoming out. We'll see.

Good news, the new springs are ordered! I ask for the part numbers and they match the TSB part numbers. Can't wait.

SO, I go to the dealer today (the same guy that serviced the truck with the previous owner... and he is also a good friend of my dad)

I ask him about the TSB and he says it HAS been done to this truck, looks it up and sure enough it said that it had been done in Sept 2006.

BUT I still only have 3 leaves. Should I take it back up there and keep talking to him about it or is there nothing I can do???

Just to show he isn't just trying to not do the TSB for me... he mentioned the tailgate one... Told me to go home.... jump up and down on my tailgate and come back tomorrow HA

So i went to the dealer today and took about an hour or so while they just inspected it. He asked "what exactly is occurring?" I said Harsh ride with a load" The service manager kept coming back asking how much of a load, when how did it ride and kept bugging me about it. I just told him about 400 lbs in the bed it is pretty shaky. He asked What exactly is this TSB? I pulled out the printout of the TSB, he had a "oh crap" look on his face and the questions stopped. He talked to the technician and came back and said that the truck doesnt need the TSB and if he put it on then it would make the condition worse. I questioned that from what i have learned here (Thank God for tacomaworld) and he was like "i see your point" So i am having it done this afternoon when the parts come in. do i need to worry about the lights. I saw someone else mention something about the lights shinning on the ground instead of strait because of the extra height on the tail. Koons Toyota of annapolis states that they are the best in the country but I have had nothing but trouble with them.

Apparently i already blind people. They flash their high beams at me all the time. I let them have it sometimes and then they wish that they didnt flash me first.

I am thinking about getting hellas or something like them. They help out if you have to gut a deer after dark.

I'm sorry to hear you went to a Koons dealership. I have been in Florida for 10 years and I still can't get the bad taste out of my mouth over Koons. They are the biggest rip off artists I have ever seen.

Yeah i noticed that. They didnt know what they were talking about. I am so glad that i have this site. They did it and when i asked about the alignment they were like WHAT? I pulled out the TSB again and showed them. They assured me it was done. So i left but it isnt on the receipt. So if my tires start to wear then i know what to do.

Have we really gotten this lazy? This topic comes up at least 3x's a week on every Tacoma board out there. Do a little research, if you don't find the answer to your question, then open up another thread.

You'd be surprised what you can find doing a little Google search as well.

your very right. I got very educated about the 'Harsh Ride' TSB here on TW without having to make a single post. I just used the little search engine that could.:D

I actually searched. But this wasnt about the TSB this was more about what i needed and the experience people had with their TSB.
