If you cleared values I honestly would drive it at least 300 miles and the more in one drive the better, then give it a good honest opinion

I’ve done my daily commute 3 times for a total of 60 miles. Each day the tune gets better - tip in, shifting, mpgs, and response. Although I’d prefer a slightly less aggressive tip in, I’m digging 19770 so far.

My tip-in has calmed down noticeably in these first 125 miles. Either that or I am learning to drive it better. I was one of the chosen few to be plagued by the dreaded Brake Override Malfunction and that hasn't happened since a pre-beta 2.0 file Mat sent me in June.
Asked if he could make the tip-in non-linear for initial pedal travel. Just take a little off in the beginning and leave the rest as is. Passing situations are a breeze now with predictable downshifts one gear at a time. And I have a solid +3 mpg's. Love it.
    Great work Mat!

I really like this beta. At first I thought the tip in was a little aggressive but after 300+ miles I've either gotten used to it or it smoothed out. I think this is the best tune yet even if it is beta. With out gear lock and being able to use ECT this would be a great daily driver. My mileage is still running 20.6 to 21.9 and I don't drive like I'm going to church. The best I saw before this was a solid 19.6 to 20mpg. I'm not sure I'd even want to change the tip in now.

Yes, it definitely does that. In 3rd for maximum 2 seconds, under normal acceleration. If you hit it hard, it will stay longer in 3rd. I only have about 30 miles on 2.0, so I'll be patient and see if it changes. I'll say though it doesn't bother me, but I'll report it to zendesk if it still does it after couple hundred miles.

What's the proper procedure to clear values again (AT, LV)

Wonder if he’s going to charge us for the new launch command

I’m guessing since the tunes were settling lower dude to driving styles he turned it up a bit. Mine settled and is fine now. Driving a few hundred more miles before I give the full review.

When I open flash manager I don’t have those tabs. I keep getting notifications that I’m out of date and then takes me to a Russian website. I’m not sure what’s going on with that. I should also mention I am old school purple dongle

Under the Tuning tab you will find the P5 flash utility. That’s where the buttons are.

Those options are grayed out for me. Does it have anything to do with me being with the purple dongle and having to use PCM flash to flash my ECU?

Dongle doesn’t have the option to reset LV and AT as of yet. You use the PCM flash and not P5 flash. You would have to use Techstream. I believe it is being worked on for you guys to get it through FM ,but not sure

Not savvy with dongle kits but when things are greyed out it usually is a reg file issue. Have you updated windows recently?

:) overwhelmingly positive feedback on the newest beta is great!
Most people are reporting tip-in has softened after putting miles on the truck.
Regardless there will still be build 19800 available asap.
