It seems in many threads here, and certainly on Instagram, there’s always that bright blue anodization from people’s King Shocks peaking out from behind the wheels and tires of their 3rd Gen Tacos. My 5100s look dag-nasty, because they get sprayed with silt and mud, and are very hard to clean, and I don’t care that much, because they mostly blend into the shadows.

So, truthfully, are you King owners polishing those shocks before photo shoots? ‘Fess up brothers and sisters.

I just hose mine off occasionally. Don't give a shit how they look as long as they function smoothly.

Does a regularly polished shock perform better?

It’s gotta go somewhere after you polish your shock.
