Calling King Owners: Is shock polishing a thing?

Eh, to each their own. The money is already spent and they're already on. You'll only spend more replacing them but that's your call.

 

I was also thinking about trying out Elka once the Kings are due for a rebuild.

 

Hadn't heard of them, I'm have to look into them. If I were going to swap my Kings out, I think ADS would be the next contender. Very rarely seen them, I hear nothing but good things.

 

I’m a fan of factory finish, Fox shocks (OG, better materials) and zero bling.

 

I used all of my nitrogen to fill an inflatable pool when it was hot here. Oops.

 

On topic my kings (all six of them) look like I pulled them off the titanic. Two years old. Two trips to Utah in winter.

 

What shocks specifically do you run?

 

Fox 2.5 resi on the 01 and I have a set in waiting for the ‘17 after the hitachis go. But they will not die for whatever reason.

I wash my truck after each offroad trip, regular car wash soap and a brush takes off 90% of the dirt. They look like crap if I leave them though.

I’d guess most don’t even off-road but who knows.
