I keep getting distracted on here. I'm trying to see if there's a way to get DOT approved amber fogs into my ARB.

Just found that after I posted. Seems like a pain.
With how popular ARB is, you think it'd be more common than retrofitting a KC light into the ARB light's housing or having to buy a bracket that's made specifically for BD lights. I do like that Stedi light. Just wish it was amber and DOT/SAE approved.

 

I literally just found the stedi light for my rig. There is no other options for mine. I tried retrofitting my BD lights into mine to no avail. I need to just bite the bullet and get the stedi's.

 

Could you run the same fog light I have that will change from white to yellow? Or...……….I actually bought some to put on my rack lights.

Aren'tl the ARB fogs the same?

 

Yeah, I just feel like the KC retrofit is kind of janky. Plus, I'd probably screw it up. I think going BD with the bracket is probably the best option. I think Slee has a bracket that replaces the whole plastic shroud thing.. I imagine there's just an amber cover I could get somewhere but that would probably make the lights dimmer than they already are..

 

Y’all have the deluxe bar I have the summit bar. Totally different fogs

I might do the same. I'm just worried it's going to reduce light output. The damn fogs don't put much out as it is..
