I finally got the hang of it, to where I can lay a nice consistent tack without blowing right through it. And then I ran out of gas right as I was finishing up, of course.

For a little bit, but I figured out it’s because I was grinding the metal too thin as I was cleaning it up with a flap disc. Switched to a wire wheel and that solved most of my issues.

And all I can do is initial strikes. It’s just tack after tack after tack.

Serial # How much time if any is left on the warranty ??

How bad do you need the money??

Myself unless I no longer welded anymore would I down size to a smaller machine output wise.

Start at $3500.00 you can always lower the price .

Id have to look into the warranty. I'm sure it's passed. The machine has an hrs counter on it so usage will be easy to display.

No real need for money. I'd like to pick up a MiG welder at some point. It's more so that it's just been sitting in dry storage covered up for too long.

The most I'd do for tig these days is custom tubing for hydrolic lines. Which I can do with a far less expensive maxstar

I have a 45XP, but never played on a table. I'd like to check it out if I didn't just spend money elsewhere. Can I get $2500 by the 23rd hmmmm.

Career welder. Never welded on a non commercial truck. Going to blast my sliders on. I'm assuming disconnect the battery to isolated current? Or is it not needed?

Awesome. Thanks Joe. Might do some sketchy stuff. Nothing I wouldn't do unless I felt confident. But we will see. Haha. I'll through up some photos if I end up doing it.

All you would need is welding current grounding back through the ECM.

Rather safe then buying a new one

But yeah stainless threads are pretty annoying. I usually use Teflon tape, pipe dope and anti Seize on them.

    First for me.
    Furniture that looks like smors.
Only mocked up 1 chair so far.
I have plenty of time, this is for a Xmas party put on by some casino bigwigs for under privileged children. They go all out every year.
Smors furniture is a first for me.
Cool thing about my job is that you never do the same thing twice.
I have 8 chairs and 2 couches to build. Marshmello part will be styrofoam, Graham cracker will be some fabric stuffed with foam.
Next week I am starting a 15' tall working windmill for some kind of live event .
Keep on gluing metal into funny shapes.
Lastly, a pic of the boss and myself so you know what I look like .
    Cheers

The Boss is getting old (16) and starting to talk back a bit, but he is the boss.
