This weekend I did the black headlight mod and plasti-dipped the grill.
I used Krylon Stained glass paint on the turn signal lenses. I wasn't a fan of the yellow tint with the orange bulb behind.

That's dedication. I don't think I have the cohones to chop that much.

I'm glad you pointed this out. Although, you did just add another project to my weekend....as if I don't already have enough to do. Getting my wakeboard into a more proper location will be a good thing.

It all started with a cab mount chop, 33’s and bilstein 5100’s about 7yrs ago.

Wish I used the wakeboard more but I moved away from friends with boats and lakes and traded for a mountain. At least the snowboards get constant use in the winter.

I'm sure this will happen to me somewhat soon. I've gone almost 10 years saying I wouldn't do a CMC, but here we are and I'm talking about doing it.

I warn you it is a slippery slope. Here’s 8yrs ago vs sometime last year.

Really like these rims. Painted the rock rings to match the wrap as seen in my sig pic. But rims are finally getting swapped with the 37’s since they don’t make 37’s in a 16” rim. So I have some scs ray 10’s sitting in my house waiting for tires to come off backorder.

I notched the camera and bezel to sit forward into the grill about 1/8” so it should be ok and there’s room to notch it further. I’ll post an HU shot in a bit.

Rained last night. The bracket and sheet metal behind the grill need to be blacked out and it looks like it needs a tweak but it does the job now.

Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
20190918_124219.jpg 20190918_124212.jpg 20190918_124137.jpg Started early for the winter prep.

This Sunday the Tacoma gets the full Fluid Film treatment , today I changed the sparkplugs 59000 miles.

    Pics below.

Center electrode slightly worn, I use Pennzoil Plat. 5-30w , 3500 to 5000 miles between oil changes, Toyota Oil Filter, Citgo 87 Octane, New England supplier , so the gas blend might be different than what you use.

Plug on the right is drivers front cyl.

    Enjoy TOMB

20k or so. I think discount over torqued one of the lugs, that where the crack was. The wheels were not at fault.

Nice! I have a camera that I want to mount on the front. I just haven't figured out how yet, and I want it angled more downward. I want to see the front of the ARB bumper so that I don't hit cars in front (I barely tapped one once...no damage, but still...) and to help pick lines when on trails.
