Just sold our place in Hedgesville. If you are looking for some trails, sleepy creek is close to you. We usually have a group of 5 or 6 tacos out there a couple times throughout the winter months. Other than that Terri’s is great food in downtown Berkeley springs, and if you have a motorcycle, 9 towards paw paw is a great ride.

If youve never wheeled on the east coast, prepare yourself. Lack of grip due to wet conditions, lots of trees, and rocks, and mud. Always go with one other person (in another vehicle) to sleepy creek.

I see your build out, Its very nice... I wouldn't take it to sleepy creek as your first wheeling experience on the east coast if you care about it. Id go to flag pole, when its wet out.

VA has a ton of fee based (30 dollars for the year) public ATV trails, and tons of private ATV trails that charge daily. If you like to ATV, VA is the place for it

I have a cabin in Morgan county. On a mountain between Great Cacapon & Paw Paw, just a short ATV ride from the Potomac river. It's a beautiful area. Wife & I love dining & attending the free outdoor concerts in Berkeley Springs. Also Cacapon state park just south of town down 522 offers hiking, biking, beach with swimming, horseback riding, scenic overlook, shooting range, fishing, kayaking...

That doesn't look like it sucks. Except maybe the mowing, get yourself a riding mower.

    Snow blower > Plow.

Or go full baller status and do a heated driveway. My dad's garage/parking area is heated and it's a game changer in the winter.

I bought my cabin on 10.5acres but now have 16acres, but I plan to buy more. I told the property owners that have property that touches mine to let me know first if they ever sell. That's how I got the addition 5.5acres. I have TW meets at my place a couple times a year. My wife makes a big buffet of food, we shoot, trail ride in trucks, dirtbikes & atvs, some fish the Potomac then we drink a few cold beverages around the firepit at dark. For the ones that stay overnight my wife makes a big country breakfast the next morning. I have this camper with electric set up on the other side of my property with mountain views in case the cabin fills up. Always a great time up there.
