Am I among the minority that would still like to see a later shift to 4th?

 

No, that is still the general consensus. the 3>4 shift is kicking my butt

 

It’s seams it’s has been for quite some time too as it’s the most talked about issue sans tip in. I vaguely remember during the 1.05 release (my first ovtune) it was stated 3->4 shift is what it is.

 

Yea it has been a very difficult point to tune because the RPM drop from 3 > 4 is more noticable than other gears, and a little too much RPM in 3rd feels like it's holding, a little too less and it bogs into 4th.

 

Will it be available to run on 87..

 

To give Mat more info, please also state under what load it is shifting to 4th early, since shifting will be different during light, medium or heavy load, and obviously also submit a ticket per his request. I am going to wait for at least a few hundred miles before giving my opinion since it takes a little time for each tune to settle.

 

For those of you running 5.29s what tune are you running? I'm on 35's and just got 5.29s yesterday and just want to hear some feedback good or bad. Thanks

 

Excited for an 87 version at some point - I've had good luck with OLE

 

Any dongle users having success launching the data logger? I can get it to connect to connect to vehicle, but it won’t launch.

 

I'm not sure about other MTs but I have no issues with the tip-in on build 21175. Its good where it's at.

 

Tip in was rough the first... 50 miles? I've waited to comment until the tune settled in, I'm at 150+ now and I don't have a problem with it at all. Goldilocks zone for me, juuust right. I haven't submitted any tickets yet as I don't see any probs with the latest release.

I'm prob going to rock this version of the beta for my upcoming 1800 mile RT camping trip next week.

I had 9 engine misfires this morning on 2.0. Only 30 miles yet though, so I'll keep an eye and submit to zendesk eventually.
