Just got off the phone with a dealer in my area. They will have a Pro in stock on the 18th of October but they don't know what color. Said they'll text/call as they find out details and want a $1k (refundable) deposit to hold it for me if I decide I want it (after I see it and agree to a price of course).

Go to the Groove Toyota website. They have one with your name on it, plus a $5k dealer markup. :spending:

I went in and negotiated $1000 under MSRP and put $500 down.

    Here is what I got:

No build date. No ship date.

    We'll call you.

In orlando, got both toyota of tampa and miracle toyota to accept this price. One of them had 1k deposit the other one 5k. Toyota of orlando wouldnt play even told me the would only do trade within their 3 dealers only, and that first 2020 was 90 days out

I wish I could destroy the CarPlay etc etc in other vehicles I have. That and it’s a waste to put LED lights in a 19 housing built for halogen. It would be nice if the 2020 headlights would direct bolt into my 19 though.

I noticed that too, but it may be a typo. Like where it says the sport has chrome door handles. If you go to the list of full specs it says the door handles are colour matched and it also says the sport has a locking diff. Haha. There’s always a typo or two on the Canadian site. I think the sales volume here is so small it’s just not a high priority. At least the online configurator will build any model that is on sale, not just ones that are currently available like the US site. I do think it’s ridiculous that the LED headlights and JBL stereo are only available on the Limited and TRD Pro though. Not sure if that’s a production issue? Kinda like how the first few years the 3rd gen was available in Canada, the Limited came with the 17” sport wheels and not the 18” wheels that came on the Limited in the US.

I'm assuming they will be a direct fit P&P since no changes have been made to the body or metal works on the 2020. Probably cost and arm and leg if purchased as a repair part from Toyota though.

Odd because there are lots of threads and pages across the interweb discussing this. Look at the OVTune thread....
I have a 2009 Sport that I bought new. Test drove a 2019 Pro and immediately noticed the shifting issues.
