That doesnt mean their selling though. I fall for that bait all the time. Ill grab something at the junkyard that is priced high on ebay. Then end up selling at a loss cause Im sick of it sitting on the shelf for 2 months.

Those Z31 center caps are a prime example of this. Down to $23 shipped and no takers.

That's why you always look at the Sold section of eBay. That's how I price my stuff.

I've done a mod or two
The Quantum drives, especially the fireballs, were awful and super high failure rate. So I'm sure people who collect want spares or just a working one.

It's always being hauled by R&A Trucking, their cabovers are blue. R&A was the original logistics company for NUMMI, Tesla kept most if not all of the original GM/Toyota vendors including my father's company.

Yeah got it sorted. That was an optional line for LDT1 (Light duty truck) emissions thing that they didn't use in our years but left on the intake for obvious cost saving reasons. :)

All this computer talk in here today leaves me with a blank stare on my face. Im the kind of guy that calls people like @BartMaster1234 to fix em for me.

Anyways, someone talk me out of buying a cheap Chinese PLC. I have the itch to get my own setup at home.

You may have a problem. Were you one of those kids whose parents wouldnt let you have access to your bank account for fear that you'd spend it all? I was. Ive learned from it though.

Atleast a cheap plc is something I can learn from.

I've had a bank account since I was in roughly seventh grade, I whipped out my checkbook in front of my eight grade teacher once and he just had this look of shock on his face.

Hey, at least I'm not addicted to drugs.

Speaking of CRT's, here is a cool article about high res gaming on one.

I walked into an elevator on campus once and someone rolled in a cart full of old CRT TV's. I said "I have to ask, why the CRT's?"

They responded "Oh, we're the Super Smash Bros. Club" They told me they took a cart and rolled it down the Mission District of SF during garbage day and picked up every CRT they could find.

    True.

Writing a check was the one thing that I was told I would definetely learn in highschool. Never did.

I have one for my NES, only way to play duck hunt. I built an arcade cabinet around it.

I used checks a lot in High School to pay for things at the bookstore, as well as for gifts. I started writing a check at the bookstore and the clerk said "Is that yours?" thinking I had no idea about checks.

It's not finished. I still need a coin panel for aesthetics and a mini fridge to put underneath. Plus paint. This taken during the build. The carpentry is done for the most part.
