I notice it a lot. Cardio, I'm fine for a good hour or two - no need to eat before or during. Lifting....uhg, that's a different story. I crash hard if I'm actually lifting and I don't have the necessary nutrients on board. Contrary to my comment about not using BCAAs during cardio, I put BCAAs in my water + pre work out when heading to the gym. I'll also slam some food about an hour before. Otherwise, I'm toast after one serious lift, and I'll squander my time on accessory stuff half-hartedly.

I didnt notice a difference in what I ate until I worked out consistently and intensely, and even then it still took time. The easiest way to get superstitious about your eating habits is to commit to an ambitious training schedule of your choice, and no matter what, do not deviate. The nutrition will quickly come into play with your ability to recover and maintain intensity in the gym. If you fudge the food plan, you wont recover and your endurance and working weight drops fast.

Just make sure you post lots of pics of your food on this thread and make outlandish claims about your prowess... my wife is coming home from a business trip, so I wont be on here every afternoon and night, and thus will need some help carrying that torch.

She keeps me honest. And by honest, I mean I will be at 6% by tomorrow morning - if I make eye contact I'll be forced to drop to 5%.

Its not that I wont be present, I just wont read all the posts. Expect more juice from me and longer delays in my response time. That's all.

I gotta be honest, sweets don’t really tempt me.

The way it make me feel kills the taste.

I do like black walnut ice cream tho.

To put it in perspective I’ve been with him 12 years, I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been told no.

Although some of you guys apparently have crazy nympho wives/gfs so maybe I’m under the wrong impression about women.

Most cakes are gross af. They're like eating fiberglass insulation sprinkled with powdered sugar. Americans don't know how to make cakes. Europeans have like 1000x different styles and they all have different flavors. European cakes might not make you feel like you're coming down with diabetus and loosing all your teeth with the first bite, but yeah sweets overall are overrated. It's ALWAYS the same flavor... sweet. That taco cake has like at least 5-10 different flavors in it. I'm with PackCon. Ban all cakes! lol.

I think the only area where sweet flavors belong, is OCCASIONALLY mixed with alcohol. And not too much.

I will TOTALLY agree with you there. Americans put so much sugar in fucking everything. Or they out dextrose powder in there to give it excessive sweetness. Fucking gross.

I like really deep bitter dark chocolate cakes with a semi sweet icing if I’m gonna get to pick.

I’m a savory dude all the way tho. Like med rare ribeye with fried potatoes ALL DAY LONG.
With collard greens or spinach with lots of butter and salt

I like milk & sugar in my coffee. I usually put 2 sugar in the raw packets in

I guess I’m feeling guilty because I’m starting to realize just how much sugar I’m eating every day. The stuff is in everything!
