    You would be okay. I have transported and have seen many rear ends transported via truck bed from one location to another on the backing plates, all they had to do was get tweaked back to their original position, but if you want to make sure it arrives 100% serviceable and usable you may be better off exploring the trailer option.

    There is always U-Haul trailers no?

    plywood for bed backing. i transported my axle without and it was just fine.

    i took mine off the pallet and carried it to my truck. quite a feat but impressive for a small fry like me. thing had to weigh over 200lbs. me with wet clothes 150.

    My father in law has a trailer that I think i can just fit the pallet in and drop it off at the shop. Gonna try to get out early today and drop it and the truck off.

    Called up Prometh for some nozzle sizing and he suggested 20 to 25 GPH running 50/50. He said my setup sounds pretty similar to the non intercooled Mustang guys with their stock M112 blowers.

    - Got my boost reference tubing and plastic T.

    - Got my 2.7 and JFR pulley mod.

    - my ovtune for a 2.7 ready to upload to my ecu.

    All ready to go on sometime in the next 3 weeks.


    *** question, I’m doing all the above minus the ovtune at a shop. .......should I download my tune before I go to the shop? Or will my truck be ok for the ride home to then tune it once I get home??

    It will be fine. Many of us drove ours to the dealer for initial tune after S/C upgrade with no problems. Just take it easy - stay out of boost, no hard acceleration.
