well i just found that page was misleading. I clicked on details to see if they said they were stainless and found they wanted more money...

In order to keep it low, I was thinking two pieces of painted angle iron (or stainless) sandwiching the slide, a reinforced aluminum sheet platform, and aluminum angle stock for sides

yeah not sure what is up with that. I mean the slides in the first post are expensive but still half the cost of a bed slide, plus the rest of the materials needed i would say you could get one built for about 65-80% just buying a bed slide.

Ive been tempted to order one of the chinese bed slides just to see how big of a pile it is. Lol. Only problem is that pesky 30 piece min order requirement.

When are we doing this pinch weld hammer fest? I’m tired of running already.

I literally just bought a jack and stands, so there was that. If I’m going to put in effort, I’d rather do it all at once.

as a tip i would cut the pinch weld into smaller sections that way you dont have some much to bend at once... picked that up from Pablo at Tandem

I was thinking of heading out there next weekend but didn't know if it was good. My brother in law said that it looks pretty flat, so I was hoping to find someone with some insights.
