NE area wheeling trip plans

This is a pretty good property to run. They usually hold some open events throughout the year.

 

I have heard,about brookridge. If my buddies are goinf they'll probably ask me to join them

 

I’ve been a few times. Only wheeled there once or twice though. Did a work day there a few months back with the club I’m in. Also hiked it a few years ago scouting out harder lines to cut. Hopefully more good things will be in the works there soon.

 

I'm sure Adam, Dom, and Gabe will want to go if they have some free time, but we shall see

The property was bought and is now operated by the Northeast Association of 4wd clubs. Any of the 30 or so clubs in the association can schedule runs there throughout the year. It’s still a $20 donation to wheel there during club runs to pay for the mortgage.

A couple of times a year clubs will run open to the public events which help pay off the mortgage and donate money towards the land acquisition fund which will be used to purchase more land for wheeling.

 

Anyone else going to the enh fall crawl? I think I'm going to do Saturday moderate run.

Single use skids are all the rage. Not bad for your first time on a trail like that!

Weak weld or not.....wondering it is because it is aluminum knowing that aluminum is harder to weld....either way it just screams replace me. Maybe contact Joe from mobtown

 

Weak weld caused it to split down the seam. The skid should rip or get dented considering it is aluminum before any welds break.
