    Quick question for all you knowledgeable spindle fellas out there - is there any difference between a 5 lug and 6 lug spindle? Googled some and didn't see anything obvious but I don't know anything about 5 lug stuff. I think it uses the same frame, and thus same upper and lower control arms and same spindle. Just hub and brakes different... Am I way off base or can 5 lug spindles be welded up and go onto a 6 lug truck?

    Did your local Fastenal have them? With shipping, they came out to $10.57 for me which is about 3 times the cost of the actual castle nut. LOL

    Sorry for the delays in responses to this thread or pm’s. I’ve been swamped between my day job, customers parts, and moving into a new shop space where I’ll be doing most of the fabrication and building spindles. Installs will still be done at the old location until I get time to install a lift.
