Its eye opening when you start reading labels. Like just go down the yogurt isle and see how many yogurts have more added sugar than ice cream.
We put high fructose corn syrup in baby food for crying out loud. Its bad.

I used to like cream in my coffee but went to black.

Keep reading labels and work to improve more everyday. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

 

Its not quite like that. My wife is up for partner vote at her firm this fall. She handles her stress by exercising, so its how we spend a lot of time together. Lots of lifting and running in the evening - in addition to my normal routine. Things should mellow out in a bit.

Not what I was getting at with my wife. I have never been told no, but I also know better than to put or relationship in that position. I can express my inner asshole on tacoma world, but not with my wife. Bitching about spouses is a stupid cultural norm for folks that is not exclusive to sexual preference.

Who did legs today?

I had a weak-ass day in the gym, but got some great cardio in. Hour ride in the morning, hour run with the dogs, and topped it off with 6 sets of 8 at 315 at the squat rack. Today was supposed to be 350, but my legs didnt have the power after the cardio. booo.

 

Nahh. Recovery week. 7 easy miles.

I’f I loaded up 315 on a squat rack my spine would snap in half.

 

Y’all crazy. I could dive into cakes and be a happy man lol. Fudge... ice cream.. cake...booty.... chocolate. All of it is sent from heaven.

 

What's the ABV of cakes? 0.0? That's right... pointless calories... lol.

 

Black coffee is the best. Learn how to make yourself a pour over and you’ll never go back. I can’t drink those pod coffees or Starbucks at all. It’s disgusting. I’m about to make myself an americano (shot of espresso with hot water) right now cuz I need an afternoon pick me up.

 

But my metabolism is slower than shit so I can’t enjoy it like ever. Only dark chocolate.

I actually buy organic coffee beans, grind them, and use a French press most of the time if I’m making coffee at home.

 

I'm a hard skeptic so I think most varying metabolism claims are kinda bs. But at the same time.. if I eat cake or pizza, I may as well literally duct tape it to my gut and wear it. I don't get it. I never get tired or cranky or incapable of normal function no matter how long I don't eat. One of my friends called me a slow burning furnace lol. I feel your struggle man. Only positive thing I can think of is if there's ever some global apocalyptic event, I'm going to be just fine as far as food goes lol. I did a 4 day fast before, literally felt no different from any other day of my life. Except maybe a little better from dropping a few lbs but that's about it.

 

Organic don’t mean shit. But props for not buying ground coffee! Just an FYI, look for roast dates on your coffee you buy. The fresher the better.

Coffee is made in a lot of third world countries do they even have access to the horrific chemicals we do in the US?

I’m more concerned about food that comes from the US moreso anywhere else.
