    Good Afternoon Gentlemen.

Well - my countdown is inside of 7 days. One week from today, and almost at this very hour, I expect to be inside the city limits of San Antonio Texas. I've researched my plans until I can't stand to look at them anymore. And now I'm more than ready to sit back and enjoy the ride. One small change in plans though. We did decide to take the Taco instead of the Rav4. So I'll be prepping her for the trip over the next few days. Here are my "perspective" plans.

Wednesday - Check In @ River Walk H.I. - Explore the walk and have dinner.

Thursday - Alamo Tour - Shop the Alamo Square - Shop El Mercadito - More River Walk - Dinner - ???

Friday - Corpus Christi (Padre Island National Seashore). - Shopping the beach shops - This is the biggest reason I want to take the Taco. I have acquired the ability to air up / down with the new toys recently purchased (just incase I need them). My goal for this portion of the trip is to make it down to Big Shell. But, IDK, we shall see what we can do based on beach conditions. And just how much I'm willing to push my own driving skills.

Saturday - Shopping New Braunfels Jewelry Show - San Marcos Premium Outlets - Lunch @ CenterPoint Station Restaurant and Boutique - ????

    Sunday - Early Departure.

So much looking forward to our trip.

Side Note: Our Debit Card got hacked 2 days ago. They cleaned out our entire bank account. And put us in debt for more than $2K. They didn't get our savings (just checking). So we still have money for the trip. But - we are still having to deal with all the SH!T. The bank has been very good to us (we've been a customer for more than 40 years). But it has been a mess.

OK - enough of that - Lets Get Going.

In your way out to big shell you should stop by surfside sandwich shop!

    Evening my fellow Tacoholics :hattip:

Night 3 of 3 under way :bananadance:, come in 5 o'clock :turtleride:

Yes, do it Kevin @Kolunatic
Sounds like a good plan bud, the CenterPoint Restaurant is pretty good and neat place, don't think you'll be disappointed. Sucks about the whole bank account, but sounds like your Bank is taking care of y'all so hopefully everything gets resolved soon. Safe travels, Welcome, and hope you enjoy your stay
I second this! That place is awsome!

    Hell yeah, that awesome

Looks like a good trip you have planned. Beach conditions are usually good, especially on weekdays this time of year.

I would be remiss if I didn't recommend a helicopter tour around downtown. It's completely worth it and I hear the pilot is pretty cool too. Since your on TW I'll beat our Groupon price and I'd be willing to set the flight up around sunset.

Thank You Sir. Wife and I would both enjoy the flight. We did the Sunset Nigh Lights Tour last year in Vegas - Beautiful. As bad as I hate to pass, the wife has most of the funds ear-marked for Christmas Gifts (shopping). I've been ignorant about what retail shopping really looks like. We only have the basic's here in Arkansas. Can't really do much shopping in Vegas because of the flight home.

No worries! Either way, enjoy your time in the Alamo city, we're a very friendly city and I'd argue that San Antonio is safer downtown at 3AM than Dallas at 3PM

Oh and Pat O'Brian's is a lot of fun, check out the dueling pianos in the back. If you want to go up to the top of the Tower of the Americas for free, (take the stairs or) go to the elevator that goes to the restaurant and tell them you want to go to the bar. They'll take you to the top for free and once you're up there you don't have to buy a thing. If you do, the drinks are pretty good, a little pricey but you're paying for the view. If you like calamari, the Kimchi Calamari appetizer is a plate big enough for two. The wife and I usually get out of there for about $40 and get 2 drinks each.
