I like Stapleton and The Steeldrivers. They showed up on my blues channel on Pandora and caught my attention. It's mostly Classic Rock and Blues for me but I like earlier country like Toby Keith (Saw him a couple of weeks ago) and old school country like Hank Williams. What I don't care for is the auto-tuned, rap-like thing country seem to be going toward. No fiddle, no lap steel, what is that about?

 

Well, since I liked those movies and the music, I would say that the music aint Country Music. I really didn't like my dad's music.

I commented on how I think the whole premise that being mentioned in a country song somehow elevates the status of whatever brand of truck is mentioned is gay. Hell, I’ll double down on that. It’s Uber gay. Furthermore I’ll triple down on my assertion that modern country is triple gay.

Something there seems to have really upset you. But don’t worry snowflake, that’s just my opinion and in no way will it interfere with your life. I promise no one will come over there and take away your Taylor Swift Boxed edition if that’s what you're worried about.
