My guess is a cracked timing cover. The truck runs too well for it to be a HG.

I dunno how many people here live in states with Fred Meyer. But they're having good sales on oils. All lubricants are 25% off even if it has a sale price. Got 2 five quart jugs of Chevron 10W-30 for $9.50 each.

 

Oh hell yeah, this is a good week. Picking up two Code 3 bars tomorrow, and a vintage Atari Arcade cabinet on Friday to build a MAME cabinet for a good friend of mine's birthday.

 

That box reeked of rubber, should be hard to miss lol.

I guess your primary source of income lends you more free time then most of us in here. Lucky bastard.

Whens the next batch shipping out?

 

First two weeks of October.

Leaves me with a lot of free time. Although I’ve been applying here and there for internships. I applied for a PG&E maintenance internship and one with SalesForce.

 

Put them in my garage and turn them on when I want to have a rave.

I hooked up the siren to play the COPS theme song when I plug in my phone.

The third Code 3 lightbar I’m buying is a modern LED one that’s police spec. Came out of the San Mateo, CA police department. I plan on removing the blue and red lights and lenses and converting them to Amber. I can run it on my truck plus it has alley lights, takedown lights, and a rear traffic advisor.

The first two are vintage from the 80’s and are just in my garage for shits and giggles.

 

Im thinking of pulling mine off and selling them. The coolness factor has worn off for me, and its a pretty sizeable chunk of change if I sell it as a kit on here.

Nah, they’re just cool little things that I plan to mount on the wall forever. I can get a good chunk of change for them, the two Code 3 XL models I own are the same ones on the Ghostbuster car. The replica builders snatch them up fairly quickly.

Here’s the modern LED bar I bought. It’s a Code 3 RX2700 California Police spec. Probably going to do clear lenses where the red and blue ones are, and swap the red and blue strobes for amber.

These things are damn expensive new, close to $2,000 per unit.





And the vintage 80’s model Code 3 Force XL. This one is also California Police spec, fully optioned unlike the one I currently own, which is Ambulance/Fire spec.

 

I thought it was a bag of dope when I scrolled past it. Probably is what youll get tbh. Like when people post an "empty gun case" for $600.
