He's not that far a stretch, all things considered. Could be worse.

    Could have been Ben Affleck.

He'd at least have had the right hair color

Damon's a good actor, though, and Bale looks to be a good Ken Miles. It has potential.

Edit- I feel as though Gerard Butler would have been a better choice, though, if he could work the accent.

Well that'd be perfect for a Texas chicken farmer, then. :rimshot:

Maybe it's like a skid plate for the curbs.

That was epic! That "mid-size" Fairlane looked like an elephant among mice out there, lol.

I had a 1966 Cortina GT for a couple of years; not quite the Lotus Cortina they were racing, but not terribly far off. Less motor, nearly the same suspension, narrower rims. Sweet handling car. I finally gave up on it after Ford all but stopped supplying parts for them in the US.

Took me a few seconds to figure out what that is. 1962 Merc Monterey all debadged, not sure if I've ever seen on in person, looks nice.

Got my driver's license in a '60 Mercury Monterey. Amazing how different the '61 looks, even though the changes are only at the rear.
