Hey Guys,

I'm in need of a couple parts or advice. I've found some new parts online, but want to give folks here a chance to sell if they have it.

1: The rear end is howling like mad, it's the untouched original 264k miles diff and I'm already tired of listening to it. Looking through all the tech stuff seems to have glazed my eyes over and I'm not really sure what diff (and ratio, pretty sure it's a 3.909) I have. It's a base 2002 (non-ABS), 4wd with manual trans and 2.7liter. I found the thread on the Elocker from East coast gears and am considering doing that. Advice or direct replacement offers with a low milage quiet rear would be appreciated.

2: Need: 2002 4x4 18.5 gallon fuel tank (no extra holes )
3: Need: passenger front turn signal (the lower one)
4: Fan speed knob (seriously, who loses that?)

IIRC the elocker diff won't fit in non-elocker axle housing. You would need a complete elocker housing to swap in, at which point you would need to regear the front since I don't believe and of the elocker gear sets have 3:91 gears. You're better off just replacing the 3:91 with the same( or having ECGS do it) or see if they can add an arb air locker with 3:91 gears if you really want a locker so you don't have to regear the front.

 

How did the system end up working out?

 

There's a thread on it. It was restarting randomly but I've updated it and since then no issues. Mounting isn't as easy as it should be but I love the unit and it's capability

Anyone have any interest in this? It's a BPF skid plate. It's been on my truck for about 4 years now. It was powder coated when I got it, but of course, because of where we live, it looks like this now. I do have the two bolts and spacers that you need for it. They're on a shelf in my garage. Not sure what this thing would even be worth, so... for the sake of the rules, I'll throw a price of $75 out there. But definitely open to offers. I'll be at the FF meet on Sunday at surfandturf if anyone going is also interested, or for the sake of a possible TW Express.
